  2. Unzip to Get the Update Folder: Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file. extract the contents of the file to reveal the update folder containing the necessary files for the upgrade process.
  3. Copy the Folder to the Root Directory of a USB Stick: Insert a USB stick into your computer and create a new folder on it. Copy the entire contents of the update folder into this newly created folder on the USB stick.
  4. It’s important to ensure that the update files are placed directly in the root directory of the USB stick and not within any subfolders.
  5. Connect the Stick to the Radio and Run it Automatically: With the update files successfully transferred to the USB stick, safely eject it from your computer. Then, connect the USB stick to the designated port on your radio device. The radio should automatically detect the presence of the update files on the USB stick and initiate the update process.
  6. Patience During Update: The update process may take a significant amount of time to complete, depending on the size of the update and the processing power of the device.
