How to Install Stock Firmware on Homtom S8
- Install Homtom S8 usb driver on your pc
- run sp flash tool
- browse and select scatter file
- browse and select da & auth file
- in the drop down menu select ‘Download Only’ option
- next you have to disable serial link authentication in order to fix any type of flashing error, you can do it by following this guide (optional require only for protected devices)
- Connection Configuration – UART 921600: Navigate to the connection settings by clicking option/connection and set the configuration to Bound rate 921600. setup it like the below image (optional require only for protected devices)
- Click ‘Download’ button
- connect your Homtom S8 to your computer in edl mod
- Wait until success./ once done, the device start itself
