Huawei Nova 6 test Point Reboot EDL USB COM Mod

Huawei Nova 6 test Point are two small point on it’s board that allow user to force the device to reboot into emergency download mod. once the device rebooted to edl mod it allow user to write device partition even if bootloader is locked.

to enable EDL Mod on Your Huawei Nova 6 You have to do test Point, which you can do by following the below instructions.

How to Reboot Huawei Nova 6 to EDL Mod:

  • Install edl driver on your computer
  • Remove back cover of the Phone & find the test point as show In below Image
  • keep shorting the test point using a copper wire or tweezer and Insert USB
  • check usb device in device manager if it detected…if not, try again
