Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Contact Me to unlock & root your redmagic device
- A Windows PC with QLM Auto Tool installed.
- Original USB cable (or a high-quality replacement).
- USB debugging and OEM unlocking enabled on your phone (under Developer options).
Step 1: Unlock the Bootloader

Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock on your RedMagic device.

Connect the device to your PC.

Open QLM Auto Tool.

Select your RedMagic model from the list.

Click Unlock Bootloader.
The device will reboot multiple times into ADB, EDL, and Fastboot modes. Don’t worry—this is part of the automated process. QLM Auto Tool will handle everything until the unlock is complete.
Step 2: Root with Magisk

Once the bootloader is unlocked, reconnect your device.

Click on the Auto Root button in QLM Auto Tool.

If USB debugging has turned off after the unlock, re-enable it.

Troubleshooting

Error: “Windows API unable to read from COMxx”
This usually means the tool can’t read data from EDL mode. - Try changing your USB cable.
- Use a different USB port.
- Then repeat the root process.
