SP flash tool is a official Mediatek flashing utility which allow user to flash the firmware on Mediatek devices, however the firmware downloaded with Alcatel Mobile Upgrade S is encrypted , so in this guide we will walks you through the process of crafting firmware with Alcatel Mobile Upgrade S for SP Flash Tool.
Steps:
- connect Phone to computer
- Run Mobile Upgrade S, once phone detected it will start Firmware downloading
- Now you can turn off the phone. Open the window explorer, the folder with the program file and wait for the download to finish. A folder with the name of your phone should appear
- from the Mobile upgrade s directory we Open very First Folder (where Firmware is Downloaded)
- Now here you will find all files, Open Each File with hex editor scroll down until you see correct Partition Name (use below image as reference) once got rename it to ‘correct Partition_name.img’ ex system.img.
- Now open all file and do as above, once done your firmware is ready
